The first 15 years of Melanie’s career were spent supporting small, local technology companies and a large, global corporation across all aspects of HR. In 2018, she took the leap to start her own business while simultaneously Co-Founding DisruptHR Rochester. During the months that followed, she found the collaboration, creativity and community impact of building Disrupt, more engaging and fulfilling than building her own business. She loved the sense of accomplishment that came with building something bigger than herself, while contributing to the Rochester community. Now she combines her professional, volunteer, and Entrepreneurial experience to support our regional talent strategy, as Talent Partner at the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. Melanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from St. John Fisher College and a Change Leadership certificate.
